Who we are
Reframeable’s founder is Mel Rumble, a Sydney-based futures designer, futures researcher and UX/digital producer with a background in futures, design, strategic foresight, environmental education and science communication. Mel has worked in wide range of UX/human-centred design/content strategy roles and projects during the past 4 years.
Mel graduated with a Masters of Strategic Foresight in December 2018 (and was awarded the prize for the highest achieving graduate in the Master of Strategic Foresight granted in 2018). She’s now turning her attention to projects that call on her futures/foresight and systems thinking skills, along with her experience in a wide range of human-centred design projects.
Mel is a Futures Designer at Action Foresight. She’s also an Associate at Little Owl, an ethical tech consultancy, design studio and miniature startup incubator, as well as a curator of Pandemic Pivots, the latest exhibition from the Museum of Futures. Mel and MoF colleague, Claire Marshall, have been appointed 2020 Next Generation Foresight Practitioner Fellows for their work on the Museum of Futures. Since July 2019, she’s been a Casual Academic/Tutor and Mentor within several foresight and futures-focused subjects – including Making Futures and Past, Present, Future of Innovation – within the Faculty of Transdisciplinary Innovation at UTS.
